Downloading Craft Project Documentation

Previous Page

There is no charge for downloading Craft Project Documentation, and there is no limit on the number of project documents that can be downloaded.

Documentation is available in two popular formats: Microsoft© Word© and Adobe© PDF© files. Adobe© PDF© files are viewed using Adobe's free Adobe© Reader© software program. If you do not have Adobe Reader installed, you can download the free program by clicking on the Get Adobe© Reader© link at the bottom of this page.

For many projects, the documentation is downloaded in two parts: Instructions and Pattern. The Instructions document provides information about materials needed, age group, if appropriate, number and length of sessions to complete the craft and step-by-step instructions on assembling the craft. The Pattern document provides full-size pattern(s) which can be printed and used to create the various pieces of the project. Some projects do not have a Pattern document because the project involves items which are readily available and, therefore, only the Instructions document is available for downloading.

For the Christmas Card projects, the Instructions documentation includes the picture or art work and message on the front of the card while the Pattern documentation includes the message on the inside of the card. Some Christmas Cards use artistic fonts ("Old English", for example) which are not included in the default font library of Microsoft© Word©. As a result, the font which is shown on your downloaded document will not be the same font as shown on the website. In these cases, the Adobe© PDF© files should be downloaded as the PDF© file retains the font used in the making of the Christmas Card shown on the website.
